The work
I led the rebuild of a software company’s website, replacing its legacy WordPress site with editable pages and a new content workflow. The work included migration planning, client feedback, acceptance checks and deployment, with agent assistance for implementation.
The site already had a substantial body of content. The rebuild needed to preserve that material and give the client a way to keep publishing after handoff.
Keeping the existing content useful
Fourteen pages and 135 posts moved into the rebuilt site without content loss. The public pages and blog needed to work as a website, while their editing workflow had to remain usable by the client.
The delivered site uses Next.js 15 and Payload CMS 3. I owned the architecture and migration planning, including the acceptance work needed to judge the result against the existing content.

Taking the work through client feedback
My responsibility covered requirements and client feedback as well as implementation direction. I reviewed the agent-assisted changes, handled revisions and checked that the agreed website behavior and content were ready for release.
The case’s homepage, service and article views show different parts of that delivery. The blog and post views are particularly useful evidence for the migration because they show how existing material fits the new site.
Checking the release
I handled deployment and production verification. The historical homepage report recorded on 29 December 2025 shows PageSpeed moving from 17 to 94 on mobile and from 47 to 99 on desktop.
