JIRA CLI

Short commands and structured output for Jira Server, with changes previewed before execution.

My contribution

I defined the workflow and instructions and tested it with real ticket operations.

Connect the task to its issue and evidence

Jira CLI uses short-lived commands and JSON contracts for Jira Server. Agents can find assigned work, search issues and read the selected task, then use authorized commands for assignment, transitions, comments and evidence attachments.

A screenshot and its comment can travel together in one command. That gives a QA handoff a visible result tied to the issue. I defined the workflow requirements and instructions, reviewed agent-assisted implementation and tested real ticket operations.

Preview changes before execution

Mutations start as inspectable dry runs. Execution requires both the command option and its arguments to express action intent.

User authorization remains a separate requirement. A command flag records execution intent; it does not establish permission to change an issue.
